GRACE FOSS

Built in 1968, by Pacific Tow Boat Company of Anacortes, Washington as the Grace Foss for the Foss Maritime Company of Tacoma, Washington.

In 2002, she was acquired by the Fremont Tugboat Company of Seattle, Washington. Where she was renamed as Grace.

Powered by one, Caterpillar 343 diesel engine. With a reduction gear, at a ratio of 6:1. Turning a single propeller.

Electrical service is provided by a single, 100kW, Cobra generator set. The tug's capacities are 2,000 gallons of fuel oil, 50 gallons of lube oil, and 50 gallons of potable water.

Her towing equipment consists of a three, Beebe, 5 ton manual winches, outfitted with 5/8(in) wire.
