Powered by two, EMD 16-645 E2 diesel engines. With Haley reduction gears, and Ulstein 1650 H z-drives, outfitted with two, four bladed, propellers. For a rated 4,300 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 105kW, Caterpillar generator sets. The tug's capacities are 71,540 gallons of fuel.
The towing gear consists of a single drum, Markey towing winch. Outfitted with 2,600(ft) of 2(in) towing wire, mounted on the stern. And, a single drum, Markey Escot winch. Outfitted with 400(ft) of 8(in) soft line, mounted on the bow.
