Built in 1926 by San Diego Marine Construction at San Diego, California as the Palomar for Star and Crescent Boat Company of San Diego, California.

She was later acquired by Foss Launch and Tug of Tacoma, Washington, where the tug was renamed as Lorna Foss.

The tug was later acquired by an individual named Dale Sweet, who renamed her Seach Master.

She was later sold to a series of owners who returned the tug to the name Palomar.

In 2002 the tug was acquired by Scott Deyman of Deer Harbor, Washington, who renamed her Sea Cloud.
