In 1986, the tug was acquired by the Atlas Southern Corporation of Tallahassee, Florida. Where she was renamed as the Gordon Clark.

In 1988, she was acquired by Hollywood Marine Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Chesley E.

In 1998, the tug was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Chesley E.

Powered by two, Cummins KTA38-M0 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.11:1. She is a twin screw, square bow, push boat. Rated at 1,400 horsepower.
