Built in 1975, by Vicksburg Shipbuilders of Vicksburg, Mississippi (hull #3) as the Nathan Golding for Ole Man River Towing Incorporated of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

In 1992, the tug was acquired by the OMR Transportation Company of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Where she was renamed as the City of Jonesville.

In 1998, she was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, GM 12V-149 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.18:1. She is a twin screw, square bow, push boat. Rated at 1,350 horsepower.
