Built in 1974, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana as the Cullen Cenac for the Cenac Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana.

In 2008, the tug was acquired by Teppco Marine Services of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2009, she was acquired by Enterprise Marine Services of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Cullen.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she retained her name.

Powered by two, Cummins KT19-M2 diesel engines. She is a twin screw, square bow, push boat. For a rated 1,360 horsepower.
