In 1976, the tug was acquired by Offshore Tugs Incorporated of Pierre Part, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the John F.
In 1981, she was acquired by the Shaver Transportation Company of Portland, Oregon. Where the tug was renamed as the Shaver.
In 2000, the tug was acquired by the Smith Maritime Company Honolulu, Hawaii. Which was a part of the Hawaiian Interisland Towing Company of Honolulu, Hawaii. Where she was renamed as the Nokea.
In 2007, the Smith Maritime Company was acquired by the K-Sea Transportation Partnership Incorporated of East Brunswick, New Jersey. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2011, the K-Sea Transportation Partnership Incorporated was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she retained her name.
In 2018, she was acquired by the Coos Bay Towboat Company of Coos Bay, Oregon. Where the tug retained her name.
She is a twin screw tug, rated at 2,250 horsepower.
