Built in 1957, by the Arnold V. Walker Shipyard of Pascagoula, Mississippi (hull #126) as the Pensacola the Coyle Lines Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 1970, the tug was acquired by the Three Rivers Towing Company Incorporated of Chauvin, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 1974, she suffered a fire. And, the tug was acquired by Modern Marine Power Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana for rebuilding. Where the tug was fitted with retractable pilothouse.

In 1975, the tug was acquired by Liberty Bell Towing Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Liberty Bell.

In 1979, she was involved in an allision with a dam. The tug suffered considerable damage, and was by Riverway Shipyard of Grafton, Illinois.

In 1980, the tug was acquired by Riverway Harbor Service Incorporated of East Carondelet, Illinois. Where she was renamed as the Glen-Karen.

In 1984, she was acquired by the Riverway Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1990, the tug was acquired by the Ingram Barge Company of Nashville, Tennessee. Where she was renamed as the Robert W. Taylor.

In 1994, she was acquired by Coastal Towing Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Oscar O. Griffin Jr.

In 2004, the tug was acquired by Capital Towing Limited of Houston, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Deanna DeLawn.

In 2006, she was acquried by the the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name. But, was operated by Capital Towing Limited of Houston, Texas.

In 2012, she was returned to the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2012, the tug was acquired by the Callais and Sons Company of Cut Off, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Lady June.

Repowered in 2004, the tug is driven by two Caterpillar 3512 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. She is a twin screw, towboat, rated at 2,100 horsepower.
