Built in 1980, by the Lous G. Ortis Boat Company of Krotz Springs, Louisiana (hull #112) as the Alamo Pride for the Alamo Inland Marine Company Incorporated of Houston, Texas.

In 1998, the tug was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Pride.

In 2018, she was acquired by the Bellaire Harbor Service Incorporated of Bellaire, Ohio. Where the tug was renamed as the Pride of Bellaire.

She is a twin screw, towboat, rated at 800 horsepower.
