Built in 1965 by Main Iron Works of Houma, Louisiana as the Maria Cheramie for Rene J. Cheramie & Sons Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.

The tug was then acquired by Bering Pacific Tug & Barge Incorporated of Juneau, Alaska. Where she was renamed as the Bering Queen.

She was later acquired by the Willamette Western Corporation of Portland, Oregon. Where the tug was renamed as the Willamette Falcon.

In 1988, the tug was acquired by the Brix Maritime Company of Seattle, Washington. Where she was renamed as the Falcon.

The tug was later transferred to the independent Brix subsidiary Sea Coast Transportation Incorporated of Seattle, Washington. Where she retained her name.

In 1993, the Brix Maritime Company was acquired by Foss Maritime of Seattle, Washington. However, Sea Coast Transportation Incorporated remained in operation.

In 2006, she was acquired by the Rainier Petroleum Corporation of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2010, Rainier Petroleum was acquired by the Maxum Petroleum Company of Rancho Dominguez, California, a subsidiary of the Pilot Thomas Logistics Company of Fort Worth, Texas.

The tug was later acquired by Lind Marine Incorporated of Petaluma, California. Where she was renamed as the Cassie Lind.
