MR. COLE

Built in 1981, by Hebert Iron Works Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana (hull #1) as the Tracy Lynn for the JBT Leasing Company of New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 1998, the tug was acquired by Tidewater Marine Services Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 1999, she was acquired by Teche Towing Incorporated of Berwick, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Capt. John C.

In 2009, the tug was acquired by Double Eagle Marine Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Miss Holly.

In 2010, Double Eagle Marine Incorporated renamed the tug as the Mr. Cole.

In 2010, the tug was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2020, she was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Houma, Louisiana.

Powered by two, Cummins NTA 855 diesel engines. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 900 horsepower.

Her electrical service was provided by two, 23kW generator sets. The tug's capacities were 9,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 5,000 gallons of potable water.
