Built in 1973, by Marine Industries Incorporated of Morgan City, Louisiana (hull #4) as the Pisces for the Berwick Bay Oil Company Incorporated of Morgan City, Louisiana.

In 2004, the tug was acquired by Misener Marine Construction Incorporated of Tampa, Florida. Where the she was renamed as the Bayou Bandit.

In 2014, she was acquired by Orion Marine Construction Incorporated of Tampa, Florida. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2017, the tug was acquired by Patriot Marine Incorporated of Winthrop, Massachusetts. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2022, she was acquired by an undisclosed interest in Kingston, Jamaica. Where the tug retained her name.

She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,500 horsepower.
