Built in 1889, by T.S. Marvel and Company of Newburgh, New York (hull #24) as the Astral for the Standard Oil Company of New York, New York.

In 1906, the marine division of the Standard Oil Company was reorganized. Where the tug was renamed as the S.O.C. Co. No. 1.

In 1915, the marine department of the company was reorganized as the Standard Transportation Company of New York, New York. Where the tug was renamed as the S.T. Co. No. 1.

In 1918, the marine department of Standard Company was reorganized as the Socony Mobil Oil Company Incorporated of New York, New York. Where the tug was renamed as the Socony 1.

In 1926, the tug was acquired by the Rowe Tugboat Company of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the Henry F. Will.

The tug is no longer listed in documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown. She was a single screw tug, rated at 150 horsepower.
