Built in 2000, by La Force Shipyard Incorporated of Bayou LaBatre, Alabama (hull #94) as the Repent for American Tugs Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana.

The tug was later acquired by the LeBeouf Brothers Towing Company Incorporate of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Creole Crusader.

Powered by two, Cummins KT38-M1 diesel engines. With Twin Disc 540 reduction gears, at a ratio of 618:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 50kW, Cummins 6B5.9-D generator sets. The tug's capacities are 18,000 gallons of fuel, 250 gallons of lube oil, 250 gallons of gear oil, and 10,000 gallons of water.
