Built in 1977, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #313) as the Victoria for Biblia Incorporated of Savannah, Georgia.
In 2005, Biblia Incorporated renamed the tug as the Mary Bennett.
Powered by two, SF240TA diesel engines. With ZF3200 reduction gears, at a ratio of 5:1. Turning two, 64(in) by 46(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,500 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 18,000 gallons of fuel, 450 gallons of lube oil, and 1,800 gallons of potable water, and 3,000 gallons of wash water.
The towing equipment consists of a single drum, Smatco 44D towing winch. Outfitted with 2000(ft) of 1.25(in) towing wire.
