Built in 2017 by Conrad Shipyard Incorporated of Amelia Louisiana (Hull # C-1154) as the Ray S. for Enterprise Marine Services LLC. of San Antonio, Texas.
The tug was named for Ray S. Sick, who retired after 30 years of service with Enterprise, and was a key contributor in the early transition to the company's Houma facility.
Powered by two, Tier III Caterpillar 3512C diesel engines. With twin disc MGX-5600 reduction gears at a ratio 6:1. Turning two, fixed four bladed, stainless steel propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 3,000 horsepower.
The tug’s electrical service is provided by two, 99kW generator sets. Her capacities are 56,000 gallons of fuel, 700 gallons of lube oil, 350 gallons of gear oil, 350 gallons of hydraulic oil, and 18,000 gallons of potable water.
