Built in 1981, by the Louis G. Ortis Boat Company of Krotz Springs, Louisiana (hull #127) as the Sand Storm for Sand Dollar Marine Incorporated of Foley, Alabama.

In 1994, the tug was acquired by McDonough Marine Services Incorporated of Metairie, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Mark K.

In 2009, she was acqured by the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2018, the tug was acquired by Patriot Marine Services of Harvey, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Mister C.

Powered by two, Cummins KTA-38 diesel engines, with Twin Disc reduction gears at ratio of 7:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,200 horsepower.
