Built in 1974, by Gladding Heard Shipbuilding Incorporated of Somerset, Massachusetts (hull #164) as the Taurus for the Tisbury Towing and Transportation Company of Tisbury, Massachusetts.
In 2012, the tug was acquired by 41 North Offshore LLC of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Where she was retained her name.
In 2018, she was acquired by Coastline Marine Incorporated of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey. Where the tug was renamed as the Kodi.
Powered by a single, Detroit Diesel 12V-71 diesel engine. With a Twin Disc MG-514 reduction gear, at a ratio of 4.50:1. Turning a single, 52(in) by 42(in), four bladed, fixed pitch, bronze propeller. She is a single screw tug, rated at 360 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by a single 4.4kW, driven by a single Lister LV-2 diesel engine. The tug's capacities 4,500 gallons of fuel, 35 gallons lube oil.
