Built in 2004, by LaForce Shipyard Incorporated of Bayou LaBatre, Alabama (hull #142) as the Warren Jr. for W.J. Marine Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana.

In 2007, the tug was acquired by Eckstein Marine Services of Jefferson, Louisiana. A division of the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Lady of Prompt Succor.

In 2007, she was transferred to the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

Re powered in 2007, she is powered by two, Caterpillar 3508 diesel engines. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,800 horsepower.
