Built 1981, by Depend-A-Craft Incorporated of Belle River, Louisiana as the Hel-Lyn for the Landry Fleeting Company.

In 1986, the tug was sold, where she was renamed as the Blaze Walker.

In 1991, she was sold, where she was renamed as the Duane Dean.

In 1994, the tug was acquired by the Choctaw Transportation Company of Dyersburg, Tennessee. Where she was renamed as the Ms. Amy.

Powered by two, GM 12V-149 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 5:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,350 horsepower.
