Built in 1980, by Aggressive Boats Incorporated of Escatawpa, Mississippi (hull #16) as the Tako Terror for Lumar Marine Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana.

In 2003, the tug was acquired by Daigle Towing Service Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Morgan Ray.

In 2004, she was acquired by Five B's Incorporated of Seabrook, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Beverly G. Barrois.

In 2014, the tug went out of documentation. Her current, and for final disposition is unknown.

Re powered in 2004, she was powered by two Cummins KT19 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.5:1. She was a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,600 horsepower.
