Built in 1982, by Terrebonne Shipbuilders Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #105) as the Ross Guidry for the Guidry Brothers Company of Galliano, Louisiana.

In 1985, the tug was acquired by United Tugs Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Emile T.

In 2019, United Tugs Incorporated was acquired by La Carriers Transportation Services Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Dusty.

Powered by two, GM 16V-92 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,200 horsepower.
