Built in 1982 by the Houma Shipbuilding Company of Houma, Louisiana (hull #75) as the Fish Hawk for Bering Sea Fisheries Incorporated of Everett, Washington.

In 2009, the tug was acquired by Alaska Logistics LLC of Seattle, Washington. Where she retained her name.

Powered by two Cummins K19 diesel engines. She is a twin screw tugboat rated at 1,240 horsepower.
