Named after Burrwood, Lousiana, the hometown of Gnots Reserve’s president and owner, Daniel Wise.

Powered by two, Tier III Cummins QSK 19 diesel engines. With Twin Disc 5222 reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.1:1. Turning two, 68(in) by 53(in), fixed pitch propellers. For a rated 1,500 horsepower.

The tug's electrical service is provided by two John Deere 4045T 65 kW generators.

Her towing gear consists of two Wintech DC40 deck winches, mounted on the bow.
