Built in 1960, by the Hans Welding Company of Toledo, Ohio (hull #105) as the Sand Pebble for the Hans Welding Company of Toledo, Ohio.

In 1998, the tug was acquired by Dawes Marine Tug and Barge Incorporated of North Tonawanda, New York. Where she retained her name.

In 2008, she was acquired by the Tripp Marine Construction Corporation of Westport, Massachusetts. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2015, the tug was acquired by Riverside and Pickering Tug Logistics of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2019, she was acquired by U.S. Northeast Dredge and Marine LLC. Incorporated of Hampstead, New Hampshire. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2020, the tug was leased to Atlantic Coast Tug and Marine LLC. of Hampstead, New Hampshire. Where she retained her name.

Powered by two, six, cylinder, Caterpillar D-345 C diesel engines. With Caterpillar T-D 6C.3938 reduction gears, at a ratio of 3:1. Turning two, five bladed 44(in) by 40(in), fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 600 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by one, 10kW, Kubota generator set. The tug's capacities are 5,000 gallons of fuel.

The towing equipment consists of two, five ton, manual push winches.
