In 2025, the tug was acquired by Trinity Tugs LLC. of Galliano, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Tex B. Tregre.
Originally powered by two, Cummins NTA-14 M diesel engines. With Twin Disc 516 reduction gears, at ratio of 5:1. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 1,200 horsepower.
In 2025, the tug was rebuilt and repowered with two, Tier compliant, six cylinder, Cummins QSK19-M diesel engines producing 725 hp each. Turning two, four bladed, 54(in) by 58(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,800 horsepower.
The tug's capacities are 12,000 gallons of fuel, and 6,400 gallons of water.
