Built in 2007, by Eastern Shipbuilding Group of Panama City, Florida (hull #941) as the Josephine Anne for E.N. Bisso and Son of Metairie, Louisiana.
Powered by two Caterpillar 3516 C diesel engines, diving two Rolls Royce Aquamaster MK1 "z drives" outfitted with two four bladed, fixed-pitch propellers mounted in 92(in) nozzles; for a rated 4,000 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two John Deere diesel generators.
The tug's towing gear consists of a Markey DEPCF 42 electric single drum hawser winch outfitted with 500(ft) of Amsteel Blue line. On the stern, she is outfitted with a Markey CEW 60 electric capstan.
Her firefighting gear consists of an FFS fire monitor mounted forward of the wheelhouse tied to a Nijhuis fire pump driven by a dedicated Caterpillar 3412 D diesel engine with a capacity of 5,000 gallons per minute.
