Built in 1962, by the Burton Shipyard Incorporated of Port Arthur, Texas as the Shorthorn for Tidewater Marine of New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 2004, the tug was acquired by Estis Well Service Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Miss Jordan.

In 2005, she went out documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown. The tug was twin screw, rated at 600 horsepower.
