Built in 1965, by the San Diego Marine Construction Company of San Diego, California as the E. Whitney Olson Jr. for the Olson Ocean Towing Company of Portland, Oregon, a subsidiary of Oliver J. Olson and Company of Portland, Oregon.

In 1975, Oliver J. Olson and Company was acquired by the Crown Zellerbach Corporation of San Francisco, California. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1976, she was acquired by the Allied Transportation Company of Norfolk, Virginia. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1978, the tug was acquired by the Continental Transport Corporation of Tampa, Florida. Where the tug was renamed as the Suncrescent.

In 1990, she was acquired by the Allied Transportation Company of Norfolk, Virginia. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1995, the tug was acquired by the Bay Transportation Company of Tampa, Florida. Where the tug was renamed as the Thunder Bay.

In 1997, she was acquired by the Falgout Brothers of Global Towing Services Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Kelly Falgout.

In 1999, the tug was acquired by Double Eagle Marine Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Cape Eagle.

In 2001, she was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Delta Fury.

In 2008, the tug was acquired by the Falgout Brothers of Global Towing Services Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Lady Ora.

In 2008, the tug was extensively rebuilt. Powered by two, EMD 16-645-E2 diesel engines. With Falk 6-47958-02 reduction gears. Turning two, 96(in) by 87(in), fixed pitch, four bladed, stainless steel, propellers. For a rated 6,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 99kW, John Deere, generator sets. The tug's capacities are 70,000 gallons of fuel, 1,450 gallons of lube oil, and 15,000 gallons of water.

The tug's towing gear consists of a Markey, double drum, towing winch. Outfitted with 2,200(ft) of 2(in) towing wire on one drum. And, 2,200(ft) of 2(in) towing wire, on the second drum.
