Built in 1949, by Alexander Shipyard Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana (hull #445) as the Laura Haden for the Bay Houston Towing Company of Houston, Texas.

Along with the Suderman and Young Towing Company of Houston, Texas. The Bay Houston Towing Company is part of a combined operating company, the G and H Towing Company of Houston, Texas.

The tug was later sold, where she was renamed as the B.G. Terrell.

Her current, and or final disposition is unknown.
