Built in 1929, by A.C. Brown and Son of Tottenville, New York as the Marion A.C. Meseck for the Meseck Towing and Transportation Company of New York, New York.

In 1955, the Meseck Towing and Transportation Company renamed the tug as the Madelyne J. Meseck.

In 1955, the Meseck Towing and Transportation Company was acquired by the Moran Towing Company of New York, New York. Where the tug retained her name.

On October 22nd, 1955, the tug sank. She was a single screw tug, rated at 300 horsepower.
