Built in 1974, by Port Arthur Shipyard Incorporated of Port Arthur, Texas (hull #1) as the Miss Sally for Creole Marine Limited of Scottsdale, Arizona.

However, the tug was operated, and manned by Hollywood Marine Incorporated of Houston, Texas.

In 1975, Creole Marine Limited renamed the tug as the Creole Sally. And Hollywood Marine Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Continued operating, and manning the tug.

In 1990, the tug was acquired by the Western Towing Company of Channelview, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Arabian.

In 2004, she was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2001, the tug was repowered. Driven by two, Volvo TAMD-122A diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. She is a twin screw, towboat, rated at 900 horsepower.
