Built in 2008, by the Zamakona Yards of the Canary Islands (hull #660) as the Statia Sunrise for the SeaBulk Inland Transportation Company. A foreign operating subsidy of SeaBulk Towing Services Incorporated of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In 2016, the tug was acquired by Svitzer Limited of Copenhagen, Denmark. Where she retained her name.

Powered by two, sixteen cylinder, Caterpillar 3516 diesel engines. Turning two, NiAlBr, fixed pitch propellers, mounted in kort nozzles. For a rated 4,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 70kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 35,600 gallons of fuel, 1,585 gallons of lube oil, 1,300 gallons of oil dispersant, and 6,600 gallons of water.

The towing equipment consists of a Iberc Towing Winch, with windlass. 2,296(ft) of 1.9(in) towing wire. With tow hook, and a deck crane.
