BERING SCOUT

Built in 1976 by Nichols Brothers Boatbuilders of Freeland, Washington as the Bering Scout for Bering Pacific Tug and Barge Incorporated of Juneau, Alaska.

On May 19, 1981, while headed for Kipnuk, Alaska, the tug foundered in Etolin Strait with the loss of three crew members. She was not salvaged.
