Built in 1982, by South LaFourche Shipbuilders of Cut Off, Louisiana (hull #002) as the Betty Jo for the Allied Towing Service Incorporated of Venice, Louisiana.

In 2004, the tug was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was reamed as the Delta Widgeon.

In 2011, she was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2012, she was acquired by J. Sercovich Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, GM 8V92 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.16:1. Turning two, 54(in) by 46(in) by 4(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 900 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 30kW generator sets. Driven by one GM 3-71 diesel engine. And, one John Deere four cycle diesel engine. The tug's capacities are 7,000 gallons of fuel, 18,000 gallons of water, and 30 gallons of lube oil.
