BERTHELIA

Built in 1980, by Melancon Fabricators Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana (hull #2) as the Monica Lynn for the Eymard Marine Construction and Repair Company Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana.

In 1986, the Eymard Marine Construction and Repair Company renamed the company as the Berthelia.

In 1987, she was acquired by the Scott Paper Company of Saraland, Alabama. Where the tug was renamed as the Tupelo.

In 1996, the tug was acquired by the Kimberly Clark Corporation Mobile, Alabama. Where she retained her name.

In 1999, she was acquired by the Cooper Marine and Timberlands Corporation of Mobile, Alabama. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2000, the tug was acquired by Double Eagle Marine Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Stump Jumper.

In 2002, Double Eagle Marine Incorporated renamed the tug as the Miss Stacie.

In 2010, she was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, Cummins KTA-19-M3 diesel engines. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,800 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 30kW generator sets. Driven by two, 3-71 GM diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 14,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 8,000 gallons of potable water.
