MANGILAO

Built in 1982, by the Sagami Shipbuilding Company Limited of Yokosuka, Japan as the Akagi Maru.

In 1999, the tug was later acquired by the Malayan Towage and Salvage Company of Makati, Philippines. Where she was renamed as the Badjao.

In 2009, she was acquired by the Cabras Maritime Corporation of Piti, Guam. Where the tug was transferred to United States flag, and renamed as the Mangilao.

In 2019, the tug sank in the Pacific Ocean while being towed to a shipyard.
