Built in 1980, by the Sanyo Shipbuilding Company Limited at Onomichi, Japan (hull #808) as the Ryuko Maru.

In 1993, the tug was sold. Where she was renamed as Sioux.

In 2002, she was acquired by the Malayan Towage and Salvage Company of Makati, Philippines. Where the tug was renamed as the Trabajador.

In 2009, she was acquired by the Cabras Marine Corporation of Piti, Guam. Where the tug was renamed as the Talofofo.
