In 2001, the tug was acquired by the LeBeouf Brothers Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the C.J. Boyne.
Powered by two, Cummins KTA 38 MO diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG5301-DC reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.96:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,000 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 60kW, Cummins 6B-97-1800 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 20,000 gallons of fuel, 440 gallons of lube oil, 200 gallons of slop oil, and 5,000 gallons of water.
