PRUDHOE BAY

Built in 1969, by Colberg Incorporated at Stockton, California as the Prudhoe Bay for the Puget Sound Tug and Barge Company of Seattle, Washington, a subsidiary of the Crowley Launch and Tugboat Company of San Francisco, California.

In 1975, the Puget Sound Tug and Barge Company was merged into the newly-reorganized Crowley Maritime Corporation of San Francisco, California. Where the tug retained her name.

The tug was later acquired by Global Diving and Salvage Incorporated of Seattle, Washington. Where she retained her name.
