Built in 2020, by VT Halter Marine of Pascagoula, Mississippi (hull #2029) as the Q-Ocean Service for Quality Liquefied Natural Gas Transport of New Orleans, Louisiana.

The tug is part of the fist liquefied natural gas articulated tug/barge unit built in the United States.

Powered by four Tier IV compliant GE 6L250 MDC diesel engines, with Wartsila Z-drives, for a rated 5,100 horsepower.

The tug is mated with a 4,000 (cu. Meters )324(ft), by 64(ft), by 32.5(ft) barge, Q-LNG 4000 , constructed simultaneously by VT Halter Marine of Pascagoula, Mississippi for Quality Liquefied Natural Gas Transport.
