Built in 1994, by the Fishermen's Boat Shop Incorporated of Everett, Washington (hull #9402) as the Moe-Gruaq for the North Slope Borough of Barrow, Alaska.

In 2005, the tug was acquired by Boyer Towing Incorporated of Ketchikan, Alaska. Where she was renamed as the Jennifer H.
