In 1989, the tug was acquired by Bunge Towing Incorporated of St. Louis, Missouri. Where she was renamed as the Thomas K.
In 2009, she was acquired by SCF Waxler Transportation Incorporated of St. Rose, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
Powered by two, EMD 6-645E7BA diesel engines. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 6,140 horsepower.
