In 1985, the tug was acquired by the Norfolk Towing Company of Norfolk, Virginia. Where she retained her name.
In 1992, she was acquired by Lockport Tugs Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2005, the tug was acquired by the Cape Fear Towing Company of Wilmington, North Carolina. Where she was renamed as the Fort Macon.
In 2007, the Cape Fear Towing Company was acquired by the Moran Towing Corporation of New Canaan, Connecticut. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2025, she was phased out of service and was "laid up" at Moorhead City, North Carolina.
In 2025, the tug was acquired by undisclosed interests in the Bahamas. Where she was renamed as the Macaero T.
Powered by a single, EMD 16-567 diesel engine. She was a single screw tug, rated at 1,600 horsepower.
