In 1977, the tug was acquired by the Apex Oil Company of St. Louis, Missouri. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1980, the Apex Oil Company renamed the tug as the Karman P.
In 1995, she was acquired by the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Myra Eckstein.
In 2011, the Marquette Transportation Company renamed the tug as the Capt. David Goin.
In 2012, the Marquette Transportation Company renamed the tug as the Marquette Hilltopper.
Powered by two, EMD 12-645E7B diesel engines. With Falk reduction gears, at a ratio of 3.759:1. Turning two, stainless steel, Avdl, 105(in) by 83(in), fixed pitch propellers, mounted in kort nozzles. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 4,200 horsepower.
