Built in 1963, by the Pacific Tow Boat Company of Anacortes, Washington as the Sea Pride for the Pacific Tow Boat Company of Everett, Washington.
In 1969, Pacific Tow Boat and the Foss Launch and Tug Company of Tacoma, Washington were acquired as subsidiaries of the Dillingham Corporation of Honolulu, Hawaii. Operations of the two companies were united under the Foss name, where she retained her name.
In 1994, the tug was acquired by an individual named Terry R. Wills of Ward Cove, Alaska. Where she retained her name.
In 2001, she was later acquired by the ALASCO Towing Company of Wrangell, Alaska. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2004, the tug acquired by Eye Opener Excursions of Wrangell, Alaska. Where she retained her name.
She is a single screw tug, rated at 325 horsepower.
