Built in 1982, by Master Marine Incorporated of Bayou LaBatre, Alabama (hull #223) as the Jamie Lee Offshore Marine Contractors Incorporated of Cut Off, Louisiana.

The tug was later acquired by the Gulf Atlantic Transport Corporation of Jacksonville, Florida. Where she was renamed as the Gatco Georgia.

In 1991, she was acquired by Eckstein Marine Services Incorporated of Jefferson, Louisiana. A division of the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the St. Jude Thaddeus.

In 2005, the tug was acquired by D and S Marine Services Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Anna Michael.

In 2012, she was acquired by J and M Towing Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Hayden Evans.

Re powered in 2002, she is powered by two, Caterpillar 3408 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,000 horsepower.
