Built in 1981, by the Bender Shipbuilding and Repair Company of Mobile, Alabama (hull #158) as the Miss Diane for Hilburn Towing Incorporated of Mobile, Alabama.

In 1984, the tug was acquired by JNT Fleet Incorporated Metairie, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Miss Diana.

In 1987, she was acquired by Brennan Marine Incorporated of LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Where the tug was renamed as the Miss Kathryn.

In 1995, the tug was acquired by Eckstein Marine Service of Jefferson, Louisiana. A division of the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the St. Andrew.

In 2007, she was transferred to the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

Re powered in 2001, she is powered by two, Caterpillar 3412D diesel engines engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 7.27:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,440 horsepower.
