Powered by two, Caterpillar 3512 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MGX5600 reduction gears at a ratio of 6.04:1. Turning two, 85(in), five bladed, Dominator Sound, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,680 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 99kW, John Deere generator sets. The tug's capacities are 31,000 gallons of fuel, 1,400 gallons of waste oil, 1,400 gallons of gear oil, 3,175 gallons of potable water and 7,500 gallons of fresh water.

The towing equipment consists of two, 40 ton, hydraulic Nabrico face winches, and one Nabrico capstan.
