Built in 1982, by Umpqua Marine Ways Incorporated of Eugene, Oregon (hull #VAA005380B) as the Krystal Dawn.
In 1996, the tug was acquired by the Northland Vessel Leasing Company of Olympia, Washington. Where she was renamed as the Jackie M.
In 2005, she acquired by Crowley Marine Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California. Where she retained her name.
In 2012, the tug was acquired by the Pacific Fishing Assets Company of Anchorage, Alaska. Where she retained her name. And, was converted for use as a commercial fishing vessel. She was twin screw tug, rated at 460 horsepower.
